In the run up to Freshers Fortnight kicking off, we thought it would be helpful for Central students to have the opportunity to get to know the SU team for this year. We've conducted some quick interviews to give you a brief idea of who each officer is, what they're like and what they're looking forward to when we begin in September- we hope you enjoy getting to know us!

If you could be any animal, what would it be?
Pink dolphins, 'cause they slay
If you could eat any meal right now what would it be?
A cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and an oreo milkshake
What is your favourite society at Central SU?
The feminist collective
Why did you decide to run for this position?
I received really great support when I came to Central and I wanted to offer that same support to both new and existing students
What are you most excited for this year?
Working with a new team and expanding Central SU’s visibility and accessibility
Which freshers event can you not wait for?
The silent disco- you'll see me in the corner dancing like a lunatic!
Which other officers do you see yourself working with?
I'll be working closely with the Black and Ethnic Minority Officers, Entertainments and Gender and Sexuality Officers, and my role encompasses working with the Campaigns Officer too
What is your overall aim for the coming year?
I'd like to see further student engagement
