Knowing Me, Knowing SU- Entertainments Officer
In the run up to Freshers Fortnight kicking off, we thought it would be helpful for Central students to have the opportunity to get to know the SU team for this year. We've conducted some quick interviews to give you a brief idea of who each officer is, what they're like and what they're looking forward to when we begin in September- we hope you enjoy getting to know us!

Officer role: Entertainments Officer
Name: Kim Marsh Age: 20
Preferred pronouns: She/ Her
Hometown: London
Course: 3rd year Drama, Applied Theatre and Education
If you could be any animal, what would it be?
This is a hard one but I think I would like to be a turtle because they are so cool and I love the water
If you could eat any meal right now what would it be?
I really fancy an English breakfast right now
What is your favourite society at Central SU?
I think it'll have to be Football Society
Why did you decide to run for this position?
I love organising and planning events and I love going out, so why not combine the two? I also wanted to have more of a say in the school in terms of events and entertainment and I thought this was a perfect opportunity
Which freshers event can you not wait for?
Ohh this is a hard one! I think either Camden assembly or the Camden pub crawl
Which other officers do you see yourself working with?
I have already worked with activities, but I definitely see myself working specifically with the Gender and Sexuality Officers, Women's Officer and International Officers. To be honest, I'd like to work alongside all the officers as I want to support them in putting on events
What is your overall aim for the coming year?
I aim to have a more diverse range of events available to students so that they do have down time away from their studies
Kim won't be around as much in person for the duration of term 1, but will be fully contactable via the Entertainments Facebook page and also at [email protected]
